Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use KweedeeHost, why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. We are committed to protecting your data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are
KweedeeHost is a service operated by Kweedee Ltd, a Private company limited by shares (Ltd) based in Ireland (registration number 734723), registered office: Bray, Co. Wicklow, Ireland.
For the purposes of the GDPR, we are the data controller responsible for your personal data. You can reach us at contact@kweedeehost.com.
2. What data we collect
Account data
When you create an account we collect your email address, a hashed password, your account type (owner or manager), and your country, currency and language preferences. If you subscribe to a paid plan we also collect billing details such as your legal name, billing address and, where applicable, your VAT number.
Data you enter to use the service
To compute your profit, you enter information about your properties, reservations, nightly prices, expenses, platform fees and, in manager mode, details about the owners you work with. This may include financial figures relating to your rental activity.
Connected calendars
If you connect an Airbnb iCal link, we import booking dates and references from that calendar to build your reservations. Airbnb iCal feeds do not contain guest personal details or prices.
Technical and usage data
We log basic technical data needed to run and secure the service, such as your IP address, browser type and access times. With your consent, we also collect anonymous usage statistics through analytics cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
3. Why we use your data and our legal bases
- To provide and operate the service you signed up for (legal basis: performance of our contract with you).
- To handle subscriptions, issue invoices and meet our accounting and tax obligations (legal basis: contract and legal obligation).
- To secure the service, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep backups (legal basis: our legitimate interest in a safe service).
- To respond to your support requests and send essential service messages (legal basis: contract and legitimate interest).
- To measure how the site is used through analytics (legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
4. Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work (for example to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie choices). These do not require consent.
Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that process data on our behalf, under a data processing agreement and only as needed to run KweedeeHost:
- Hosting of the website: Vercel Inc..
- Hosting of the application and database: Railway Corp..
- Analytics: Google Analytics, provided by Google, only when you consent to analytics cookies.
- Email delivery: our transactional email provider, used to send invoices and account messages.
- Payment processing: when card payments are enabled, a regulated payment provider will process your payment data; we never store full card numbers.
We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers are located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. When data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure your data stays protected.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep your account and the data you enter for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep certain records longer. Invoices and accounting records are kept for the period required by tax law. Analytics data is retained according to the analytics provider's settings.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Have your data erased in certain circumstances.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@kweedeehost.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in particular the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or the authority in your country of residence.
9. How we protect your data
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), store passwords in hashed form, restrict access to your data to what is necessary, and keep backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data using appropriate technical and organisational measures.
10. Children
KweedeeHost is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you.
